Never to forget. We have an in-law in the buildings that collapsed, her tales of horror are deafening. Another in-law was in the air, his plane was landed within seconds in the middle of the USA. We had a friend that was sitting at a desk where the Pentagon was hit directly, who was severely burned & seen on TV running out of that hole ... God bless them all. Have a lovely weekend. It's hard to believe it's been 8 years. I can remember sitting here in shock like it was yesterday.
Here with you and everyone that shares N, NP's memorial today.
We will all never forget that day!Micki
As Micki said - we will never forget. Here in CA we were just getting up when our son-in-law called and said to turn on the TV. Always bad news when a call comes early in the a.m. or late at night. Our nephew's wife was supposed to be in the tower but we came to learn that she was sent the week before for two weeks of training in another branch of their company - it was a very long 12 hrs. until we learned she was safe. We must learn to love one another, as the bible says, starting with our neighbors, and form an outreach from there.
