Neapolitan

Neapolitan's a flimsy! I love this quilt.

It will be for Caroline's bed when she is a little older.

When I looked at the picture I saw one block that is wrong. I didn't mind. I thought, "If there were more than one, I would mind. "

Then I saw the second one that was wrong. So I'm going to take them out and redo that particlar section.

When I get a back ready for this one and for Mellie, I'm going to send them off to the machine quilter.

This is two quilts in a row without borders. Interesting.

I felt exhilarated and inspired with Neapolitan. Inspired in the sense that I am seeing a quilt with these colors that really works. Can I copy it please? The "they" say this is the sincerest form of flattery, don't they?

check it: teriansn. This is surely some dang form of terrorism!

Love the colors in this quilt! I'm sure the recipient will love it on her bed. It's very hard for me to even find the blocks you say are not correct! I love the Melanie Wilkes too!
It took me awhile to find them and I doubt anyone would ever notice them. At least they are in an easy place to take out. It makes me want to do a pink, brown and vanilla quilt.

Beautiful! I can't find the mistakes. And I LOVE quilts without borders...course, that may just be an acquired taste since I HATE sewing borders. *g*

Beautiful. I want to eat thos colors -- delicious. You are on a roll! I like the term "flimsy" -- never heard it before, but it's a lot cooler than UFO.

I'm going to the quilt show in Oaks, PA on Thursday-Saturday, and am hoping to take lots of pix. I'll post on my blog. Time to juice up my fabric and quilt envy!!

One of my all time favorite quilts is done in brown, pink and burgundy. It is a stunning color combination! Love Neapolitan!

Just beautiful!!! I love the colors in this and the pattern is so flowing! Looking forward to seeing what the quilter will choose as a quilting pattern.

Nancy, I love your Neapolitan quilt top! That pattern has been on my 'to do' list for awhile. The nine patch quilt from the previous post is gorgeous, too. Nice work!
