William Morris Strikes Again

By now it's getting chilly down at the Jersey shore. And Kathy, who just bought a Cape May house, is going to need to keep warm.

I thought I'd help her.

The fabric is Bill, of course.

I think it will be perfect in her bedroom.

If not, she's got lots more beds to try it out on!

The weather hasn't been good for photo ops and since Kathy was scheduled to receive her quilt last night, I put it on my bed in the morning just to get a pic before giving it away. It wasn't very satisfactory. Then my wonderful husband surprised me by taking a picture outside when he was home for lunch, and sending it to me.

Wasn't that nice?

It makes my heart swell to think of this quilt already having a home. You are so kind. And dontcha know the dearest husband of all is the best husband of all and I love him all over again for taking this photo at lunch and sending it to you. He's the best ever!

And we thought his only quilty talent was that of being a superb design wall! Better watch it -- he'll be renting himself out for quilting retreats soon.

LOVE this qult. Perfect colors for a Cape May house.

I plan on using that pattern with my taupes. You did a wonderful job with Bill. (I still have a bill charm pack awaiting inspiration.)

I envy the recipient of this quilt, but then again, you probably knew that I would. [wink] What a wonderful combination of simple blocks and fabulous fabrics from Mr. Morris!

I wasn't sure who Bill was until I re read the title of the post, LOL! It's a beauty and is sure to be loved and adored, shared and snuggled under for many many years. Your sweetie was sweet to get the shot for you.
