Two More

This lively quilt that was so much fun to make will be going to its rightful owner later this month. The recipient is -- I think -- not a blog reader.

This quilt is made from 6" CW fabric blocks, some of which came from The Farmer's Wife and others just because I like them. The quilt is a gift for someone who needs a reminder to take a nap.

These are wonderful quilts and say a great deal about your care for the very lucky recipients.

Your ability to create beauty from "scraps" of precious material astounds me. These two loved people are going to receive a gift of your love.

Now for a commercial break:

"Near Philadelphia" -the town, not the person- is having a Kindness promotion. Can you imagine a whole town creating and doing kindness to one another? Why don't you start a campaign in "Near Your City"!

I especially love that first quilt - something about the colors.

And "for someone who needs to remember to rake a nao" --what a great gifting reason.

Wow! These quilts are both glorious and standing ovation is in order for all the finishes you've managed to accomplish! Well done!

I particularly like the colors and layout of the first quilt but those blocks in the second quilt are near and dear to my heart. Lucky, lucky recipients!

Hugs!

I have the pattern for the first quilt that you show. After seeing your quilt, I think I'll
rethink my color choices. Both quilts are very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely quilts! The first is one of my favourites - I even have fabrics picked out but I think I'll need to think about a second one in blues and purples. The sampler setting is striking and with all the popular sampler patterns, yours stands out.

I love the setting of the FW blocks, Nancy. Very clever and interesting!

Oh, I LOVE the colorway of the quilt on the top.
And the FW blocks in their spare, modern-ish setting look great.
