I love seeing the pi...Your quilts are so beautiful. I love seeing the pictures of every one of them. Our family used to have a quilt that was made by my paternal great-grandmother, but I don't know what ever happened to it or what pattern it was. Doubtless Guenveur has it around the house somewhere, but it's terribly fragile with age, naturally, and could probably use a lot of restoration. I remember a few times being wrapped in it when I was sick as a child and it always had this great sort of ancient smell to it. I also remember my mom having a crazy quilt around somewhere, but where it went, I don't have a clue. Oh, and I LOVE the one you made for her. Just gorgeous! You do beautiful work, Nancy. What a talent!<BR/><BR/>Oh, and by the way, I have noticed at the library where I work a burgeoning number of series novels revolving around quilting themes.
