Hmmmm. What does that mean?
I think you have to bite the bullet and determine not to use every single print in the line in one quilt.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09440749267288259866noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27429478.post-21950800472223205132010-04-01T19:55:57.377-04:002010-04-01T19:55:57.377-04:00Storm at Sea struck me for Bill's Bundle. I often go to Nicole's site for inspiration too - I think she making Kitchen Sink (from Kim Brackett's book) out of it. I think I like the dresden plate idea though. Sadly, I'm the breadwinner, so I will continue to dream and live vicariously (and seriously, think about joining you next year at White Creek--have I got the name right?).

I've never been a big fan of Dresden Plates, and I think Pat is right, that it may not be the best pattern to show off those luscious Bill fabrics.altar egohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11564052536173244610noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27429478.post-16149050354437165542010-03-31T13:02:55.250-04:002010-03-31T13:02:55.250-04:00So Joe is out of town for a few days & already...So Joe is out of town for a few days & already your starting back up with Bill?

I took a look at Nicole's site. How about Moor is Moor or Rosettes? Dresden Plates might work, but I think another pattern might showcase the lushness of that fabric better. Fig Tree has a pattern that gives the illusion of curves: French Quarter. I like the idea of baskets because that fabric just makes me think of baskets/urns of flowers, but how to make them so that they are less angular?Pathttp://imalldeckedout.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27429478.post-56378472104660462142010-03-31T13:00:13.943-04:002010-03-31T13:00:13.943-04:00I'm partial to Judy Martin's Shakespeare i...I'm partial to Judy Martin's Shakespeare in the Park pattern for a scrappy "looks like curves but it's not" quilt...floribundahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04580721857582350448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27429478.post-48330614996345713242010-03-31T12:38:37.041-04:002010-03-31T12:38:37.041-04:00Or Bill's Baskets.
