I've sort of been wondering it myself.
Matt and Carrie were married this past month and their housewarming party is next weekend. One of those "no gifts, please" events.
Well, you know me, never have been good and following directions. Ever since second grade, actually.
So this is their present. Coffee With Cream or Cafe Con Leche, whether you prefer English or Spanish. The blocks were the yield of a swap I organized a few years ago. There was not a single bad block in the batch. I saw the brown print at the LQS and thought it would go well with the blocks. Then I saw the binding fabric, which really bowled me over, even though as a matter of principle, I almost never use a light binding.
It's done and ready to gift! Have a lovely life together, dear Carrie and Matt!

Oh Nancy, this splendidly sumptuous. You really got us this time!
Wonderful quilt! Really spot on with all the fabrics. I really like the light binding on this one.
WV: thetsma --possessive tense: thetsma quilt!
Churn Dash is one of my favorite blocks--This is a wonderful quilt, plenty big for lots of couple cuddling time :)
I keep thinking I'm sick of churn dashes, after making them for nearly everyone on the birthday list this year... but you may have just changed my mind! The quilt is lovely and I really like your border & binding choices.
This is so pretty! Love it!
oh I love this quilt..........I am working on a churn dash block at the moment......
Oh, I like that one a lot! I tend to use dark binding too but this inspires me to give light a chance.
Oh, and the bad hair day...priceless!
What a fun gift! I like the name of it too :) I am sure that they LOVE it!
PS - I am glad that you are still a quilter so I can continue to admire your beautiful work on the blog.

LOVELY . . . just lovely.
Churn Dash is my favorite block EVER. I don't know what it is about that block, but I adore it Every.Single.Time. And why don't I make it? No idea. Hmmm...the wheels are a'turning now!
Love that quilt!
I had missed that, Nancy, thanks for the link. I wasn't looking at much last summer. It is beautiful. Did Kat quilt it?
