Bee for March

 

In our Bee, I'm always happy when Lisa's turn to be Queen comes around. It seems as though she always picks just the right block for us to make.

This time was no different. She wants Palms and Palms she's getting. It was a couple of four-and-a-half weeks from my surgery before I was able to (1) go up and down the stairs to where Bernina resides and (2) sit comfortably for an hour or more in the chair. 

Ruth gets to post her pick in three days. Can't wait!

Have fun making these Palm blocks and I wish you well getting used to going up/down stairs and sitting at the Bernina once again.

I like the colors you're using -- the backgrounds set off the green leaves. Do you pool the blocks so that each month's designer gets them all, or do you keep them and make a sampler?
