William Morris Cornerstones

While Pick A Petal is consuming my evening hand piecing, downstairs in the sweatshop studio, I'm working on a less challenging but possibly more gorgeous project. I'd rather foolishly thought that my relationship with William Morris Bill had ended some time ago, all at once back he came, begging for reconsideration. I folded, as Jan would say, like a cheap tent.

My buddy Kathleen has been working on a Crossroads that is a combination of Bill and Liberty (trust me, it's gorgeous) and I've enjoyed watching her progress. And then my Texas fabric purveyor offered a FQ pack of these new William Morris beauties. There are sixteen prints plus the one I added for the cornerstones and all of them are pictured here.

At this point I have 46 of the needed 56 blocks finished, so soon I'll be putting it all together and getting it off to my machinist.

And now I'm humming the Fifth Dimension's Wedding Bell Blues.
