Quilts From Winter of 2019: Part Three of Three

This queen-size quilt is made entirely from 2-1/2 inch squares of Liberty and is a reminder of our trip last autumn to Great Britain. I bought some fabric packs at Liberty of London and added them to the few pieces I already had. The quilt is from a pattern called Mazed, by Kristy Daum.

Your quilts of winter are beautiful. I hope this beauty graces one of your beds.

Getting all of those squares to fit together perfectly kind of boggles my mind. Really like it.

I love this quilt! It seems to me to have been a bewildering quilt to make! Was it easier than it looks? I'll have to check out that pattern.

It reminds me of the Nintendo game called Pipedream that our sons played and was a kind of "beat the clock" game of forming connecting pipe parts quickly enough that the ooze that was 'pumped' trough the pips wouldn't get to the end of what you'd built before you had it finished. I can still hear the music.

Hugs!

Pipedream - what a great connection (we played that at our house, too). Lovely memories of a grand trip in this quilt.
