Oh, No! It's the DCV!

Well, earlier this week the DCV* struck Near Philadelphia. Just in the sewing studio, I hasten to add!

I spent the early hours of a couple of mornings putting things away, discarding, setting aside for my friend, and generally trying to get [re]organized. Things were moving along just fine until . . .

. . . I opened a bag and found ten little paper-pieced blocks that I'd made god-knows-when.

So the cleaning and purging were set aside for the time being while I made three more blocks and cut a dozen setting squares.

And now this has gone to the machinist and the organizing may resume!

*DCV = Dreaded Cleaning Virus

And, yes, there's one block that's imperfect. Oh, well.

I love the DCV! I have been working away on my orange peel blocks using the start method. Thanks for that tip

Ah, DCV. Perhaps my inoculation is still strong because it hasn't come to me anytime recently.
