A Wee Little Getaway

On Sunday afternoon, Bonnie and I drove down to Cape May for a less-than-24-hour stay! We both needed a change of scenery and there's this shoe store we like, along with the other lovely shops on the Washington Street Mall.

The Mainstay looked gorgeous and the hospitality was excellent; appropriate precautions were taken for our Covid safety.

We had dinner that evening at a delightful Italian place Joe and I have come to enjoy where the menu is varied, the portions are generous, and the veal is excellent.

After a fine breakfast on Monday, we headed out to see what we could see and buy what we couldn't live without. Each of us picked up a pair of wintery-motif leggings and I scored a pair of very comfortable shoes. There were other purchases, too, that remain secret!

Oh, and we picked up a guy, too! Meet Sven . . . .

What a delightful place for a good change of scenery and some retail therapy, including perhaps some last minute gift purchases?!
Nice, too, that you brought home Sven to help make your holidays brighter this year and for years to come.

Hugs!
