Jelly Begun

Recently, I said that the next Peanut Butter quilt would be called "Jelly." I'm a woman of my word.

Last weekend was my Guild's annual autumn retreat and I was delighted to be able to go. Fifty-two quilters in one room can be distracting, so I needed a project that was more-or-less mindless.

Hence Jelly, fashioned with even more scraps from the Pineapple quilt was begun. Also scraps from another in-progress quilt yet to be named.

I expect that there will be updates on Jelly; she's technically still a Leader-Ender but chafing at the bit to become a real project. Stay tuned.

I hear you on the distractions in a room with that many quilters. That is about the same size as the retreat I just attended last month.
Liking what I see with Jelly. Apparently Jelly is a she--and a strong-willed one.

I like the concept of L&E but when I try to do it I get impatient and crank out a lot of whatever the units are. Your colorway for Jelly is great! I'm now thinking of a lot of puns, be they preserves or cnidaria (which I just looked up).

What a great beginning to Jelly - or will it be Strawberry Jelly for those red cornerstones?!

Hugs!
