United Kingdom Part Two: Harry

We had a detailed list of what pieces of London would be included in the Road Scholar portion; this gave us the opportunity to schedule things that we wanted to see and do during the time we were on our own.

On our first full day in London, we had booked the Warner Brothers Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter. We were taken by bus to Leavesden. The tour was at our own pace and there was a place to purchase lunch about 2/3 of the way through. We enjoyed the tour very much. Our only criticism was that there was a precise time that we had to be ready to get on the return bus and when we finished earlier than the departure time, there was absolutely no place for us to sit and wait. We did find a cafe by the entrance/exit and picked up a snack that we didn't really need just to be able to sit down for a while.

Waiting for the doors to open!
