Welcome, Weston!

We'd known for a while that the neighbors at the corner were expecting a second son in August, and he showed up a week or so ago.

His name is Weston, which definitely meets my criteria for baby names, i.e., interesting but not weird.

The blocks for this baby quilt were pieced several months ago. They are made from Kaffe fabric and the blocks are, of course, those Tulas that I can't seem to get enough of. They finish at 6" and the lattice finishes at 1". so it's a quilt for this little guy to grow into.

I machine quilted this myself (don't look too closely) and put the binding on during some television watching over the weekend.

The plan is for me to deliver it one day this week.

What a perfectly wonderful quilt for Master Weston. And congrats for quilting it yourself. I had that Tula book and never used it so it was passed along to another quilter. I love how you used the individual blocks in your layout.

What a cute quilt for little Weston! Well done with the machine quilting, too. :)
I, too, had the Tula book but didn't use it so donated it to my local library.

Hugs!
