Pick A Petal Two

The rows and columns of Boardwalk are all together. I'm liking how it looks. I believe, however, that it needs a nice border, and that isn't on yet. Maybe tomorrow. In fact, I'm going to message the machinist to set a drop-off date and that will ensure that I get that border on tomorrow. I'll try to get a photo of her when she's at full flimsy stage, but she's pretty big, so that's kind of iffy.

Meanwhile, Pick A Petal has begun to bloom.

There are twenty of the improved nine patch blocks to be made during month two. I'm hand piecing them. Here are the first five. They're fun and easy to do.

Beginning to think about the July retreat that's scheduled with the usual suspects, and what projects I might take along. I've just learned I'm going to need a quilt for a baby girl in November (no one you know), so I might start that. And I need to pick background fabric for Caroline's college quilt (not needed for a little more than a year). And I've been thinking about a second Crossroads using *Bill's fabric and possibly a greenish Peanut Butter. So many wonderful possibilities.

*Long-time readers realize I've made so many quilts from William Morris fabric that he and I are on a first-name basis.
