Pick A Petal Two
Meanwhile, Pick A Petal has begun to bloom.
There are twenty of the improved nine patch blocks to be made during month two. I'm hand piecing them. Here are the first five. They're fun and easy to do.
Beginning to think about the July retreat that's scheduled with the usual suspects, and what projects I might take along. I've just learned I'm going to need a quilt for a baby girl in November (no one you know), so I might start that. And I need to pick background fabric for Caroline's college quilt (not needed for a little more than a year). And I've been thinking about a second Crossroads using *Bill's fabric and possibly a greenish Peanut Butter. So many wonderful possibilities.
*Long-time readers realize I've made so many quilts from William Morris fabric that he and I are on a first-name basis.

I love my Wm Morris fabrics as they are just scrumptious. He was a design wizard.
Stay cool!
Hugs!
Always have loved the improved 9-patch block. It has been on my "someday" list for a long time. Your fabric choices are so nice, and your hand piecing skills are impressive. If I ever do make one, it will not be hand pieced.
Yes, you and Bill are old friends. One of my favorite things I picked up in France last year is a little zippered coin purse made of tapestry type fabric in a William Morris print.
