Blueberry Flan

Take a look at this combination, readers.  Is it not utterly delicious?

Picture lifted with permission from Kathie (who writes a nice blog, I might point out) who seems to be as smitten with these fabrics as I am.

I've already got plans for a block swap using these colors.

Indigo and caramel.  Gorgeous.  Delicious.    Picturing a delicious dessert.  Something like creme caramel or creme brulee or . . . oh, yes . . . flan.  With freshly picked blueberries.  Blueberry Flan.

I've been picturing and gathering some tans and caramels for a blue and tan quilt. The problem is that I love all blues, so I'd have to figure out which ones to leave out.

Those colors are so warm and inviting. Would be a good man quilt.

Always the pot-stirrer-upper, I would add a touch of old school red in there. Not a lot, but just a cherry on the sundae.

I heard a rumor that there is a birthday being celebrated, near Philadelphia. If so, many birthday blessings to the birthday babe!

Ooooooo what a combination! One of those why-didn't-I-think-of-that thoughts followed by a I-wanna-play-too moment.

I'm a fan of indigo and caramel too! The contrast is not in your face but just complementary enough to sparkle a bit.
Go grab yourself a piece of birthday cake; you seem a bit food obsessed at the moment. According to my Rainman daughter, who sems to know the birthdays of thousands of people, today is your day. Happ, happy!
