Who Made This Masterpiece?

I went to the Mancuso Show at Oaks last week and saw some very nice quilts. This one stopped me in my tracks. I was so taken by it that I forgot to capture the name of its maker. If anyone knows, sing out -- I'd love to give that quilter credit. Meanwhile, I'm about to head downstairs and rummage through my black-on-whites and my brights . . . .

What a delightful quilt!

I remember going to the Houston International Quilt Show for the first time when I was a brand new quilter in 1992. Not only were the quilts inspiring and amazing, but there was an occasional seam intersection that didn't quite meet perfectly and a few points lost in seams. I took heart! Perfection wasn't the be all and end all of quilting!!!!!!!!

Hugs!

That is a really nice color scheme for a circle quilt. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens after your rummage downstairs.
I wonder if this was a part of the 365 sew along - choose or make one circle a day. I am still slowly making my circles.

awesomeness! so glad you chose to put this on your blog for us to see. love love love!
For some reason I have had the urge to create little patches, whether sewn or embroidered, I have not yet decided. This is a cool quilt. Love the brights on white with black.

Wonder if someone connected with the show could help you ID the maker? Looks much like our Quilty 365 circles ... Wonder if the maker ever linked in on the monthly gatherings? SUPER quilt!!!
wow they do make stunning backgrounds....very nice

First thing that came to mind was the Quilty 365 project from a couple of years ago. I really like this interpretation -- great way to show off (and use up) lots of B&W prints.
