I Did Not Make This Quilt!

But I wish I did.

A couple of weeks ago I posted a photo of some houses I was building on my Bernina. They were for a Guild project -- we had been asked to produce these little blocks for quilts to be given to families who had suffered from the recent tornadoes.

This morning our Guild President shared this photo of what the finished flimsies are like. I think it is just terrific and I bet you do, too.

outstanding! I just participated in a house block swap with my bee and now have 132 house blocks to play with. what fun!! would like to add some trees here and there if I can come up with a suitable pattern. love the spacing out of these houses.

I like the modern layout with "breathing space." Or maybe they are vacant lots?

I have to say that I like that layout also. I was thinking that they would be putting all the little houses together with no spaces. But scattering the houses really makes it an interesting quilt. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I like the less congested neighborhood idea!
