What's Happening: Mid-January, 2022

So, we are half-way through the first month of this new year. I thought it was time for a bit of an update on what's happening in the studio right about now.

With any luck and an improved memory, these type posts will become a regular feature.

We'll see.

Wensleydale is 52/60 pieced! The remaining eight blocks should be finished in about a week. I can piece not-quite-one block each evening while we watch whatever.

The secret project mentioned in a previous post has moved along. There are presently 100 six-inch blocks waiting their turn on the design wall when Wensleydale vacates. I'll share it at that point because I don't believe that the intended recipient reads this blog

Wensleydale is worth clicking to enlarge; some of the blocks are very interesting. 


 And then there's this, waiting to happen. Someday.

Fun to see the fussy-cut centers of the Wensleydale blocks. The colorful four-patches are quite a contrast to those calm neutrals.

Wensleydale is just wonderful and the variety of fabrics you used make it so interesting color and content. Well done!

The glorious 4-patches must be a visual delight during this cold and damp January.

Wensleydale is very nice, it's going to be a winner; and, then by contrast, those color-saturated 4-patches are so very appealing, I can't wait to see what they become!
