Some FB peeps have been posting a version of the highs and lows of their past ten years. I thought I'd give it a go, sticking mostly to positive and wonderful things.

2010: Joined Philadelphia Modern Quilt Guild. Grandsons Eli and Nate born! Attended the Bloomsburg Fair for the first time in many years. Struggled with The Farmer's Wife quilt. Joe moved his office into our home. Good friends Elaine and Herb tied the knot! Blackberry joined our family.

2011: Family trip to Lake Anna. I became Mrs. Potsman. Trip to Asheville and Brevard, North Carolina where I met -- and hugged -- Mrs. Goodneedle and Lisa. Joe participated in Living Last Supper.

2012: Miles was born! Aberdeen was born! Karen and Craig married. Easter in Cape May. I went to Sweden (and Norway and Denmark)!

2013: Another trip to Lake Anna. Lost my job at Abington Friends. Venice to Rome trip. Started work at St. John's.

2014: Memorable NYC day with Emilie. Sewing machines for India. Left St. John's to begin work at Nexus. Began working as hospital chaplain. Trip to Chautauqua. Glenside-Weldon demolished. New York Beauty and the paper piecing struggle. Breaking Bad. Polar Vortex.

2015: Visit to Ellis Island. Five Scandinavian countries. Caeli's miracle baby. Caribbean adventure. Pacific Northwest trip.

2016: Bonnie's Barn. Paper-piecing practice continues. Hoping for Hillary. Hyde Park and CIA trip. Normandy/Paris/Ronchamp/Basel trip. New front door.

2017: Epic trip to Spain and Morocco. Madrid with Sherry. Joe crosses ocean. Reunite in Barbados. Ballerina Quilt for Jane Lopoten. 50th Anniversary Party and shore trip. Wild West trip.

2018: Retired from hospital chaplaincy. Three great winter quilts. Kristin's new home party. Started volunteering at food pantry. Busch gardens and eastern shore trip. British Isles trip. New lamp post!

2019: Come From Away (twice)! Triangles quilt begun. Joe's 30th anniversary celebration. Liberty quilt completed. Vicious attack by long-time friend. Quilt camp with Judy. Paper-Piecing mastered. Pattern testing. Joe crosses ocean again. Nancy and Bonnie quilt cruise to Panama. Loss of neighbor Frank. First annual $100 breakfast.

You've had quite an exciting 10 years with lots of family changes and travels. I hope the next 10 years have many highlights in them for you! Happy New Year!

Can't believe it's been that long since we hugged; we need to update this in 2020. Congrats on ten years of positive, happy highs! :)

On the whole, overwhelmingly wonderful and a delight to remember, or, in our cases, to read. Here is to more wonderful events, happenings, friendships, and family in the coming decade. Happy New Year!
