A Sextet of Aunts


I haven't been blogging these past couple of days. Here's why:




Yes! Six of the twelve pieced blocks for The Aunts' Quilt are finished!

I don't think I'm going to have sufficient fabric for the many appliqué blocks in this quilt, so I'm going to have to purchase more fabric. And I need to decide what background to use for those appliqué blocks.

Well done! Those blocks are wonderful and your fabric colors that will likely appear in the applique will make this such a joyful quilt. Do you plan to put the colorful scallops around the quilt's perimeter?

Beautiful - love the colors and textures of your fabrics. I see a gentle warm (not cold) gray running through your fabrics - you'll know when you put the blocks against your options!

HIV is a terrible disease, if not for my wife and the help of the great Dr. Apala my life would have been a mess!
