You asked how to add a Goals list to the sidebar and then be able to cross things off the list.
If you go to my blog and right click near the sidebar, a box will come up. Click on "view source" and another box will come up which shows my template. If you scroll down to just about the end of it you will see my September goals listed. This is where i add my goals and you need to type your list with all the < > etc. that's there. The "del" part is added when you want to cross it off.
