Finished?

Well, it is finished! There are over 1200 pieces in it. Himself thinks it wants a black border about 6" wide (the squares on the lattice finish at 2" and the blocks finish at 8"). I think he might be right about the size, but not about the black.

What do you think?

Oh, and it could prolly use a name. Janet? Pat? Honna Marie? Anyone?

My "namer" seems to be broken lately, but I do love this quilt. You have put three of my favorite things together--purple, stars and churn dash!

I love this quilt without a border. If you do one, I wouldn't pick black.

Beautiful quilt!! I would do a brighter blue or green border.
Definitely not black. I would probably be trying a dark purple.

Magnificent! I say think about the chartreuse color that is in the quilt. Or a cream.

I love purple!

I think I could go either way with the border, but I have to agree with Wanda, not black. I like her idea of dark purple. How about "Churned Stars"? (Sorry, that's all that comes to mind.)

Looks great Nancy! I love the purple tones, like jewels. I think the colours would sparkle against a black border. Have you tried it against a black background?
