36

A Leader-Ender will remain a leader-ender for only so long. In my studio, I tend to breed outspoken leader-enders who demand to be made real projects. Eventually, I give in.

Here's the latest of them. About half of the 36 blocks were true leader-enders. Then the clamor became too intense, and it turned into a real project.

The lattice is planned. And cut.

And the die is cast; it's a Real Project, no longer a Leader-Ender.

You'll be seeing more of this.

Thank you for the chuckle this morning. Those leader/ender projects have minds of their own ;) I do love your stars though so I can see the lure of jumping right into full project status with the!

I like those stars. What is the name of the block?

Love these joyful and playful star blocks. Are they Rising Star blocks or is my memory playing tricks on me this morning?

The block certainly look dramatic with the dark sashing. Is that your plan?

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this outspoken project!

Hugs!

I look forward to seeing more.
And I can't imagine a woman who knows how to speak her mind breeding leader/ender projects that sit patiently by and wait their turn! (Said with love--you know that.)

I'm with you, Nancy. I start L&Es with ideas of creating a nice cache of "units" for a future project. Frequently I get impatient and crank'em out (at which point they are technically neither leaders nor enders). Your stars sparkle!

Darn those quilt voices! But oh, how lovely. BTW, I'm blaming you for my latest Kaffe obsession.....
