Three Questions
Question #1 is for Barbara near Richmond: Can you email me directly? Through some mysterious force, my address book has done some kind of a self-clean, eliminating a handful of addresses, yours among them. I haven't been ignoring you -- just can't write back!
Question #2 came from No-Reply Susan who wanted to know the name of the pattern I used to make dresses for Caroline.:Here it is. Friends, please keep in mind that if you send a no-reply comment, I can't reply and if you ask a question, I don't have a way to answer it!
Question #3 is for readers: What is your favorite color? This is post #1599 and has come very close in proximity to my seventh blog birthday. So I've determined that it is time for a give-away. Leave a comment, please, telling me your favorite color. When I am ready to write post #1600 (!), I'll draw a name and the winner will receive a give-away, the precise details of which are yet to be determined, but will likely include a mug rug in your favorite color.

My favorite color is merlot - and a golden yellow a close second. Cheers!

My favorite color is lime green. It used to be (almost) any shade of green until I had two children born in August. Peridot is their birthstone; hence the love for lime green.
4th try that first word is killer!
One favorite color? That is tough--I just love color. I guess purple rates up there pretty high.
Jeeze, I have to choose? Well.. Black.. Or bright green. Or..or..purple or blue. No, wait! Mustard yellow!
I love your blog. My favorite color is aquamarine-that color of the ocean that is just perfect!
You sound so relaxed this week!

My 5 year old granddaughter Lily would tell you red but I think it might be closer to purple or a range from red to purple
My favorite color is blue and all its shades. Thank goodness I have three boys so there is no pink at our house but there is a little bit of red. But at the end of a hectic day, I find blue more relaxing than red. Congrats on the bloggaversary and many many more returns :)
I like turquoise. According to my 2 year old granddaughter, Alma, it's the color of the bad peacock at the zoo that ate her cracker and made her sad. Not chartreuse, not puce, not fuchsia, but turquoise. Bad peacock, awesome color.

I agree with Lisa: there's only RED
Right now I'd say my favorite color would be aqua.
It's so hard to choose just one color but I'd have to say red.:)
Favorite color? Add an "s" to make colorS and I'll say blue, green, blue-green!!
I'll send you an email, too.
Hugs!
Greens are high on the list, purples/pinks, then the blues family.
Thank you for sharing yourself with us -- here's to the next seven years!!!
I'm a purple girl.
Favorite color is purple.

I just spray painted a side table for my bathroom, shiny shiny fire engine red and I LOVE it.
