Tulips and Windmills: Keukenhof

It was our last day with Viking and we had the option of spending half the day or all the day at Keukenhof. And we didn't have to decide in advance!

Our feet made it clear at 12:30 that the half-day option was for us.

Our guide took us around for a half-hour or so, pointing out things like pavilions and restrooms, and again reminding us not to buy bulbs to carry home, but rather to stop at one of the kiosks and order the desired bulbs to be delivered in October. 

Keukenhof was something we'd anticipated greatly. We had no way of knowing just how opulent and fabulous it was going to be. Here are several thousand words about that morning:

Oh, how glorious and what eye candy!!!

Hope there is some tulip fabric being made because you might need to make a tulip quilt.
