Hello, Gorgeous
Lizzy, 8 weeks, came to live with us yesterday afternoon.
She shares a birthday with our dear next-door neighbor.
She is about the size of a young rabbit.
Apparently, she is mostly bladder. We left Shamokin with her at 2:00. We stopped every 30 minutes to give her an opportunity. No go. Finally, at home, she produced an immense puddle. After dinner, she piddled again and yet again. Before bed at 10:30 another nice puddle. And then we heard nary a sound from her until 6:30 this morning.
She's very, very cute, extraordinarily affectionate, so far pretty mellow, intrigued by shadows, and sees herself as a lap dog.
Technical details: She's an English Springer Spaniel, called a blue roan (though she is all black and white), AKC registration, from a litter of 8 at the same kennel where we got Blackberry.
And we are, of course, smitten.

Enjoy!!
One true life lesson: no one can be sad in the presence of puppies.
Hugs!
