Little Girl

Some people I know are expecting a daughter this summer.

I gave away much of my Kaffe scrap stash a week or so ago but kept back a few of my favorite prints. I made four more napkins for our use and four to use as a hostess gift. And, of course, there were still scraps.

Scraps just right for cutting into 2-1/2" squares.

My bin of solids scraps is still pretty full including the remains of a bolt of Kaffe solid pink that I got on sale ages ago.

So I started a quilt for this new little life. There will be nine blocks and I just might hand quilt it.

It will be a lovely quilt, Nancy. I like the uniformity of the centers and the edges with the variety of the other two rounds.

Omigosh - I can't believe you gave away your KF scraps! I'm in the gathering process to make a KF scrap vortex type quilt . . . wish I had known yours needed a new home! The little girl quilt will be LOVELY!

Looks really pretty. Nice fussy-cut centers.

Sweet and joyful at the same time! What a lovely way to welcome this new little girl and you've gotten a good head start, so that's even better.

Hugs!
