Bleeding Heart
I finished the tenth small block for "Time Began in a Garden" a couple of weeks ago, and forgot to post a picture. It is one of my favorites for this project.
. . . .
This weekend's big project was choosing wools, tracing designs, bonding to black flannel, drawing the stems, and writing the words for the last two small blocks (winter berries and holly) and also the big central block. Last night I went through my floss and found I have all but five of the colors I'll need to finish the project, so I snipped samples of the colors I need and tomorrow will try to get out to the shop to buy them. These three blocks are the stitchery that I'll be taking with me on my trip to Greece. I have no idea how much time I'll have available for stitching, but I mean to be prepared!
. . . .
Here is a picture of what the finished project will look like. I hope.
