We the Purple is Finished

When I was up at Chautauqua this summer, I met up with Kat who had machine-quilted two of my most special projects: Going Rouge and We The Purple.

I got the binding on Going Rouge a couple of weeks ago, and finally finished binding We the Purple this week.

I just love the quilting that Kat did on it, especially in the black border.  I hope that if you click on the picture it will enlarge so that you can see how terrific it is.

Oh, and who's that great big black and white springer spaniel posing so innocently?   ;-)

Wow! The quilting is just wonderful and really complements the quilt. You can send that quilt westward if you ever get tired of it.....

My goodness Blackberry has sure grown up fast! He looks like such a sweet boy.

Kat did a supurb job, as did you. I think this is one of my favorite quilts. Like you, I am not a particular fan of purplr, but this is enought to make me rethink. This is a real head-turner!

Remember when you trained Joe to be a quilt holder and he got to put it on his resume? Blackberyy is Quilt Monitor, in training.

What a wonderful example of a purple quilt! Everyone needs a purple quilt. Are the fabrics all batiks? I love it.

"I am not a particular fan of purple,"....

Just letting everyone know that there is always a loving home for any unwanted or unloved purples...
