Fox News -- The Best Kind!

Joe and Blackberry take a long walk each morning in the wooded park at the end of our street. I'm always eager to hear their morning report.

This winter, most days there was an accounting of deer sightings. Sometimes a single one, sometimes a group of ladies, and rarely, a buck.

But the past few weeks have brought something new.

We'd known there was "a fox" in the neighborhood. All of us have seen him from time to time, cutting through the yards and occasionally walking right down the sidewalk!

Joe knows now where the foxhole is located. He knows there are four kits. He knows that the vixen is protective, and all five of them are curious about him. Blackberry knows something, but we're not sure of the details. The past few mornings, Joe's taken his camera. I thought you might like to see his photographs.

Amazing photos! Isn't it wonderful to live close to where the wild things are? We have woods behind our home on our long and skinny 4+ acres and there is a creek at the back of the property. It's a joy to live here.

Hugs!
