Snow Day, Part Two

A Snow Day for a school employee is nothing short of grace.  A gift one has not earned.  Given at the whim mercy of the headmaster.

I had a lovely day, catching up on laundry, taking a sweet nap, and making a Gift For No Occasion for a coworker.  It was fun to cut, sew, press, all the while thinking of the unsuspecting recipient.

Who will be gifted at ten o'clock tomorrow morning, if the stars are in alignment.

Oh, and here's a gratuitous photo of You Know Who, who simply cannot get enough of the white stuff.

That is one lucky friend. I LOVE the bag. I'm glad you're enjoying the snow. We didn't get quite enough. I'm looking forward to that one big snow where I actually get to stay home and sew. With 2 4WD vehicles in the driveway and 3 miles to the office, I'm out of luck. I'm enjoying having a vicarious snow day through you though! Thanks for sharing!

Love the bag, AND the dog! Lucky you, home for the day; even luckier, your bag recipient!!

Dogs and snow. It's a beautiful thing! A different kind of beauty than the beauty of the bag. Lucky recipient!

Oh isn't it nice to get a day off when you aren't expecting it! I had a class of three scheduled and they all called to say they couldn't come. Gave me lots of extra sewing time and though I love my students I was thrilled with a free day of my own.
