Covid-20 Sewing (19) Archaeological Finds (A-3)

Archaeological Find A is a flimsy! And as soon as I spread it on the table, I began to like it. I've cut the binding and will piece it tomorrow. Then I'll put the flimsy and the binding together in a ziplock until I'm ready to have her quilted.

Lovely!

I, too, like to make the binding as I finish the top, just so that's finished and ready when the quilt has been quilted. No delay in getting it sewn on!

Hugs!

Your setting looks like the staging for a Quiltfolk photo shoot. (Nice quilt, too!)

Nice find, I have one from that same fabric era; mine's not quilted either.

Super quilt and setting.

I kept thinking that fabric looked familiar --- clicking a closeup, I realize I have a half (quarter?) quilted Moda Bake Shop project made from a Honey Bun of that same line! It's interesting how a different context can make a project that reads "Meh!" on the design wall become "Wow, Nice!" once it's placed where it can be used. Glad this one will get quilted and live to serve another day!
